As diaconal committee chairs, if you know of somebody that we should be contacting or if you know of a church that says, hey, we think this church has a real heart for this and they might take up an offering for the Obadiah Fund or whatever.
I'm hoping. I'm hoping it's this, that throughout tonight, throughout tomorrow, we're gonna be setting our minds upon the things above. Yes, mercy ministry requires thought and focus and wisdom with regard to the things of this world, but it's only after we're setting our minds on the things above for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

So what exactly does a Presbytery Diaconal Committee do? Honestly, it varies for each of the 17 presbyteries, but the OPC Proposed Mandate asks each one to consider the following included in this document.
